The way of the human being

I started reading the book assigned to us; I was really judgemental at first about what Napole0n had to say. I totally do not agree with him that one culture could be more susceptible to becoming addicted to alcohol or any other drug than another culture. I do believe however that yes there is a spiritual or mental component to drug addiction which is almost worse than the physical addiction. It is always a persons choice to decide to drink so you can not blame alcohol entirley on your problems or on your cultures problems. I have not finished reading the book, but I will this weekend.
